Hello!  My name is Erin Pangrazio and I am the Media Specialist at Creekside Elementary School.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Northern Illinois University and my Master's Degree in Library Science at Olivet Nazarene University. I was a teacher in Joliet for 9 years before coming to Plainfield to become a Library Media Specialist.  I am very excited to begin my 9th year at Creekside!

Our goal is to support all the members of the Creekside Learning Community by providing materials that reinforce and enrich the curriculum, assist in class projects and activities, instruction and guidance in information seeking skills, and activities that promote a love of reading and an appreciation for different types of literature.

The Media Center is always open to students, staff members, and parents. Students may come at any time during the school day to exchange a book, do independent research, or work on group projects. We encourage you to visit often, and we welcome input on ways in which we can better meet your needs as learners and mentors.
